Beaming

Sara Marlowe Hall returns to plaster in a new body of sculptural color field paintings that explore surface, material, and the quiet resonance of landscape. Built through layered plaster and embedded pigment, the works evoke horizons, terrain, and shifting ground without direct representation. Texture and accumulation shape each composition, allowing traces of touch, time, and revision to remain visible. Existing between painting and sculpture, these works invite a slowed, contemplative engagement with color as a physical and spatial experience.
